Responsible for maintenance and issuance of Purchase Orders on time which minimize inventory levels and satisfied production demands.
Communication and management of vendors as related to on-time deliveries and inventory turns
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage purchasing parameters in AS400 and keep it updated and accurate
2. Placement of orders with vendors, as well as, expediting, deferring and canceling.
3. Master the progress of ongoing new programs and make it happen as fast as possible
4. Communication and management of vendors
▪ Daily order delivery communications
▪ Weekly forecast communication
▪ Monthly / Periodically review with vendors to point out their strengthen and weakness and action plan if needed
▪ Yearly / Periodically review the purchasing volume/value with Vendor to set up next price target
5. Analyzing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels; do not store slow moving aged inventory
6. Basic technical mastery of product managed by
▪ Understanding the basic test need and how it performed
▪ Filing all the technical standard and master sample
▪ Basic production process
7. Responsible for completing personal professional development plan
8. Performs other related jobs as assigned by Supervisor/ Dept Head.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
▪ Thorough understanding of Resonance, MRP and Mapics
▪ Thorough understand of purchasing, planning, scheduling, inventory management
▪ Understanding of load, capacity and bottlenecks in the production environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education
▪ Four-year university degree or similar level of knowledge
