JOB SUMMARY

Ensure products meet quality standards and packing process meet production schedule.

Continuously work to improve packing processes and inspection skills.

Manage all QC inspectors and packing within an assigned facility in such a manner that fosters teamwork while increasing productivity and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct activities of QC and packing to meet production schedule and products quality.

2. Manage labor, attendance time, work discipline.

3. Manage material (semi-finish, sub BOM and finished goods).

4. Work out the QC report to reflect the yield of manufacturing.

5. Assessment for all subordinates.

6. Responsible for the pilot run quality review.

7. Responsible for the quality and packing standard update.

8. Deal with customer complain.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Direct the activities of all QC team and packing team and fully utilize the support of all departments to meet QC department objectives. Responsible for manufacturing high quality products on time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education

▪ Required

–Technical secondary school and above in textile field.

2. Experience

▪ >4 years experience in managing a manufacturing or QC team

▪ Familiar with fabric and leather sewing process.

3. Knowledge of: 

▪ Quality tools.

▪ Statistical Process Control

▪ Lean Manufacturing Concepts

▪ Theory of Organization Behavior

4. Skills and Abilities

▪ Excellent organizational skills

▪ Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills

▪ Ability to communicate with all organizational levels

▪ Skilled in conflict management and resolution

▪ Skilled in prioritizing multiple directives within changing work demands

▪ Skilled in problem solving

▪ Capable of using email, Excel and Word

3. Working Conditions Involves working in general manufacturing conditions where there are frequently moving products. These conditions also include working in an area where there is moderate noise from the manufacturing processes present and without air conditioning.
