Takes care Casegoods Packing Engineering. Responsible for samples making to test for new development and inline running to production; make sure all new products information to be filed and updated; provide spreadsheet for BOM updating; coordinate prompt delivery of template to production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
I. PACKING ENGINEERING
1. Create packing list, packing SOP for CGs products of both type of product: In line product & NEW GO
2. Design & standardize packaging size, printing layout & standard in term for quality & weight; standard for material and finishing storing
3. Support Manager/ Designer to design & review product labels; production compliance
4. Work with stakeholders (SC, PUR, MRO, QC, …) to get samples, check and improve Packing materials; quality issues solving.
5. Have container packing map/loading instruction SOP for WH.
6. Audit & maintain drawing# on system, actual packing material & method compliance
II. SAMPLES PROCESS
7. Responsible for preparing, cooperating with related Department to facilitate and make samples when have requirement from superior.
8. Responsible for material testing, follow up to get good result on time in full.
9. Collect and record all information; Send to BOM team to update final BOM; BOM change request.
10. Develops documentation related process improvements including standardized work, SOP.
11. Conducts audits and follow-ups small projects in production and areas that have new changes to provide feedback and help sustain improvements. Support the technical for Production.
12. Perform other tasks may be assigned by Department Head.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
In charge of Product Engineering for Casegoods Production.
• Work with Engineering R&D department on new style development.
• Assist in cost reduction project.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education Intermediate in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field or higher.
2. Experience
▪ 1 - 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
▪ Development samples/ Pattern process experience.
▪ 1 – 2 years’ experience working with equipment hardware and CAD; CAM softwares.
▪ Packaging experiences are advantage.
3. Knowledge of:
▪ Knowledge and ability to create detailed technical drawings by softwares.
▪ Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in production of precision patterns, drawings, and samples.
▪ Knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various Casegoods and Casegoods related products.
