SUPPLY PLANNING AND INVENTORY CONTROL PROCESS

• Coordinate with the HQs in US on capacity planning and demand fulfillment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive production plans, considering factors such as demand forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, customer service and warehouse team to align production scheduling with business objectives.
• Monitor and lead to further improve the scheduling and inventory control process

• Reliable schedules with clear explanation of underlying assumptions.

• Processes run smoothly and are well aligned with other processes within the company

SCENARIO ANALYSIS

• Facilitate the process of defining and communicating alternative solutions for the demand and supply plan and ensure all relevant constraints (eg: resources, efficiency, material availability...) are checked.

• Insight in consequences, possibilities and bottle necks in the value chain
• Changes in plan are implemented effectively, at minimum cost and limited obstruction of the business

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

• Clarify, communicate, monitor and align interests, requirements and changes in plans of all relevant stakeholders involved in supply planning and inventory control process.

• Provide insights in performance and enable stakeholders to perform as production scheduling plan

INFORMATION REPORTING MANAGEMENT

• Generate and provide clear and accurate information on scheduling and inventory accuracy performance within all areas of manufacturing.

• Improve planning performance (perfect order index, inventory accuracy…).

• Provide insights in performance and enable stakeholders to perform as required

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Initiate and ensure the implementation of performance improvements to the supply planning /inventory processes and procedure.

• Reduce waste and losses.
• Improve processes and procedures.

ORGANIZATION AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Effectively organizes the own department and manages a team of people including recruitment, performance management and (career) coach/development.

• Engage and motivate employee to fully utilize the potential of employees.

• Production, Industrial engineering, quality, finance, Customer services, Warehousing, HR, Plant Engineering, Logistics and Procurement (sourcing and purchasing)

External:

• Vendors/suppliers

Challenges:

• Customer orders or demand change leads to a change in production schedule immediately.
• Failure of supply from suppliers or from changes of plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field

Experience/skills required:

• Above 6-8 years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years at managerial position. Preferably in one or more of following areas:
• Production scheduling/planning
• Project management and team member in supply chain planning projects
• Furniture field
• Knowledge of supply planning and scheduling
• Strong logic and analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.
• Ability to influence, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships.
• Proactive, resourceful, and efficient
• Team building, motivation, and coaching skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of using planning tools and ERP system
• Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL..
